Very rarely does a player setup an announcement date for returning to college ball. If they stay, they typically just say the are staying, if they setup a press event, most of the time it's because they want the publicity jump-start going into the pre-draft activities.

If he comes back, he needs to be slapped. He's not going to improve his stock and he has no shot to win a national championship, so going pro is the only option

From the interviews I've seen with him it seems like he actually wouldn't mind staying and screwing around another year talking about SpongeBob but there's just absolutely no reason he should so he's definitely gone.

I wonder what gives? Basketball fans around the nation, including KSU fans, tend to have a low opinion of Frank Martin as a coach. His coaching peers seem to have a great deal of respect for him. Time and time alone will tell if the coaches are being candid or not. One year from now we all will have a pretty good idea if he has a future as a Div 1 head coach.
