Credits: 819,960 | 80,000 Can't Help Barney Our old pal Barney put on a ho-hum performance with his OL in his return to NU. Yes it was only a spring game, but I'm sure that most of the 80,000 came away wondering about their OL performance. 66 carries for 171 yds (2.6 ypc) along with 4 sacks.
By contrast, McFarland's group opened the way for 201 yds on 57 carries (3.5 ypc) along with 3 sacks. Not a huge difference, but it's often enough to provide the winning edge in a competitive contest.
I'm sure that NU fans will claim that it was Bo's super defense that caused the problems. The truth is that both ISU and NU have some serious work to do to get their D's to a championship level. It can be done over the next year or so, but their are currently too many concerns that both teams have to address. |

I was told that is what they were selling for on Ebay, not what the University was charging. |

I am pretty sure it was only $10 a head, but I'm sure there was probably scalping, either way still insane with 80,000 at a spring game. |

Also helps when Bo is running with the ball. Heisman in 2009, coming to Ames. |
