Augustin and Chalmers enter NBA draft!

Both will not hire agents but will likely do so in the coming weeks. How does this affect us in the Big XII next year if any.

DJ can definitely play, but I'm not sure Chalmers can. Must be trying to ride the wave of the national championship. Considering it's Texas and KU I'm sure it will be a reload situation regardless.

Rush, Aurthor, and Chalmers all leave. I don't think KU has enough coming in to just reload.

I personally like Chalmers more than Augustin. I think he has a little more size and is more of a gamer. Plus he plays great defense. At the worst, he is like a Chris Duhon

That is pretty good news for us, even if they can reload, it will be hard for them to replace the experience those players brought to the court...

Thats what Im thinking as well. Im sure they will be good, but the wont gel fast enough to clobber teams this next season. Thats if they lose all that are shooting for the draft. If some stay back, it could be a different story.

IMO, DJ was too inconsistent this year. Yeah, he looked amazing at points, but at other times, he looked really rough. Plus, this is one of the most stacked classes in a long time. I think DJ should wait another year. Texas could easily be a Final Four team if he stays.

SI.com is reporting that AJ Abrams has declared for the draft as well but won't hire an agent. This is good news for the cyclones.

There is a TON of talent leaving the Big 12 for the NBA...

As a college player, I like Chalmers more than Augustin. As a pro, I like Augustin.
