Not sure if this has already been posted, but Nebraska's QB Sam Kellor did not get drafted, did not get signed as a free agent and will go to an nfl tryout in Florida, but will probably go the Arena football route.(if any team wants him) On the radio he said he expected to get drafted. Callahan played the wrong guy and paid the price.

Than last spring people began questioning if he really was the better QB. But Callahan had already appointed him the next great leader.
As someone who always roots for the underdog it was great to see Joe Ganz make Callahan and kNU fans eat their words about Keller.
Ganz is just a good all around kid who deserved better than what kNU gave him. This year it's his job to lose. Me, personally, I hope he is the starter and has a great year (except against ISU). |

I agree with you, but I think Ganz graduated last season...kinda sad, he waits for his chance and Callahan put Kellor in that spot.

I'm sure part of the reason he wasn't drafted is because of the drug rumors that have followed him around since his days in Tempe. Another reason is he shot-puts all his throws and simply isn't that good. :) |
