It looks like there is pretty good evidence that Arthur had grades changed in high school inappropiately. It's amazing how this stuff comes after he is done @ KU. He should have not been eligible to play @ KU.

Hey, how can Kansas win national championships if they cannot fudge a little hypocrisy?
Maybe his grades were changed, maybe not. But the NCAA cleared him by his transcript. Does anyone think the NCAA will actually go back and say "we made a mistake"? I don't think so.
Derell's media statement: "WTF. I dun pass good."
NCAA is losing its grip on squeezing the big boys like KU and USC...just sayin'
My beef again how does this come to light now, when there is nothing that can be done. Where were these people two years ago.
I agree that you cannot penalize KU for something his HS did. However, it is disappointing that something like this comes out after he declares and has no affect on his college play time while kids like Lucca get screwed over for doing nothing wrong. The NCAA needs role model athletes and, in my opinion, Lucca is much more of a role model than Arthur (assuming these accusations are true) and yet Lucca gets penalized. That really makes me angry.
Why can't you. They also had Jackson on there team who accepted $6,000 from a KU booster. It's amazing they can penalize some teams for this stuff but not all teams.Quote:

The booster stuff, I think KU should be penalized. That happened under thier watch. But if a HS fixed grades, the NCAA reviewed, and KU offered a scholarship, I don't see how that would be KUs fault. Are schools supposed to start doing their own private investigations into each athletes for certification? That is what the NCAA is for.
Even if they strip the national championship... .they still won... no one will remember in 10 years that it was taken away. They won it, and everything else is just academic. Is it right... no... that's just the way it is.
