Another "I-State" sighting
Stumbled upon this today, thought it was cool to see the new logo on a conference map. -

All things flow according to the whims of the great magnet. "You know, that might be the answer - to act boastfully about something we ought to be ashamed of. That's a trick that never seems to fail." -

Re: Another "I-State" sighting
I think the map itself is cool - where was that when I was road tripping and needed it?
Oh we will fight, fight, fight for Iowa State, and may her colors ever fly!!! In Accordance with Prophecy -

Whoa...I didn't realize Lubbock was that remote...that's the middle of freaking nowhere
Green hills for thy throne, and for crown a golden melody/Ringing in the hearts of all who bring thee love and loyalty/Dear Alma Mater, make our spirits great True and valiant like the bells of I-O-WA STATE!
And thank you Stumpy for this: -

LOL - yep that pretty much sums up west Texas. Almost as much fun as driving through Nebraska. There is nothing out there.

Re: Another "I-State" sighting
the drive from Oklahoma City to Amarillo to Lubbock may be the most dusty, flatest, windiest, boring, ugliest, longest stretch of land in America. Nebraska is better.

Re: Another "I-State" sighting
TexasTech- what about Colorado? Colorado is not necessarily remote, but it's not close to any schools. I bet they have alot of traveling expenses.

Re: Another "I-State" sighting
Cool map! Although it could be messy, it would be neat to see all the BCS schools on a map.

This raises a question: How much did our travel costs increase by putting together the Big XII? Some of these places can't be easy to get into. Obviously, Texas is a bit of a trip from Iowa at any rate.

Also, I love how at a distance that cardinal "I" sticks out. That's our "I"!

It doesn't have the logos, but here is a map like it. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/c/c4/Cfdia.PNG 41-51 Record in CF Mafia. Re: Another "I-State" sighting
No wonder all the Texas Tech road warriors own a plane.

Re: Another "I-State" sighting
Someone should probably fix this on Wikipedia and then there can be another map with the Big 12 Logos on it. Big 12 - NCAA Wiki "You can observe a lot by watching" ~Yogi Berra
