    Texas, no doubt. Some might hate them because they win like the Yankees, but they do things the right way and their fans and coaches seem pretty down to earth and classy.
    Gene Smith, 1993-2000. 7 years, 6 NCAA's, 1 bowl game. Revenue sports postseason participation 50%. Good.
    Bruce Vandevelde, 2000-20005. 5 years, 4 bowl games, 2 NCAA's, 2 NIT's. Postseason participation 80%. Better.
    Jamie Pollard, 2005-. 4 years. 1 bowl game, 0 NCAA's, 0 NIT's. Postseason participation: 13%. The next big step.

    Texas. I hate aTm's paramilitary BS. I met guys from VMI, The Citadel and the USNA while in the service. Didn't meet one from aTm. Guess they don't do Marine Corps infantry.

    I don't understand the hate for KSU. When I went to the game in Manhattan in '06, I had a blast, and felt that their fans were pretty respectful for the most part. Better than the fans in Columbia and Lincoln, imo.

    It took me awhile to decide but I ended up going with Texas but I've always been a big fan of OSU as well.
