OK State gets another gift

I'm starting to think that we need to find an ISU alum who is willing to go out and start an energy company...

Texas Couple Donates $57.2M To OSU For Sports, Studies - Education News Story - KOCO Oklahoma City

Note that this is in addition to the money that Mr. Pickens has been shelling out. Oh, well. We'll just have to wait and see if there are any dividends associated with this investment.

You need money to build winning sports programs but money does not guarantee winning sports programs.

Wow! They are going to have facilities, equipment, and recruiting budgets greater than the almighty U of Texas at this rate. They could be a real force in most sports in a few years. Hopefully, they will blow it like most lottery winners.

Does everyone realize that Jamie wants to put "I think" 85 million total into our stadium? That couple would almost pay off that alone.

I think people have been saying wait until the next quarter...Which happens to be July.

Seems like any money announcement is lame compared to OSU anymore. Lets just say that we get 20-30 million for a donation which would be awesome and is a crap load of money, but OSU has received something like 300+ million lately. That is crazy.

I remember hearing about this last time we played in Norman.

Apparently (at least according to the people I talked to) there are a few more OU logos that haven't been found yet.

Schools with the Most NCAA Championships

Oklahoma State has the most championships of any team in the Big 12.

Funny, even with all of its power and money, we still have more championships than Nebraska. Of course this doesn't include football, which matters a lot.

ISU Cyclone fan, University of Illinios, Iowa City campus student, and a huge DB for making this my sig-line.
