If you wonder how KU won the national title, they did it with 5 NBA players.
Rush, Arthur, Chalmers, Jackson, and Kaun all drafted last night
Amazing. 8% of the entire NBA draft came from KU.

Yeah, that's pretty amazing. Kaun was actually their 6th man and Russell Robinson was their other starter but your point still stands. I would guess they had at least 1 or 2 other NBA players on that team with Collins and maybe Aldrich depending on how he develops.

Actually, what I wonder about is KU hoops fan who wanted to give Bill Self the boot. Until this April, they've been grumbling about Bill not being able to win the big one with all the talent. I kinda get that...but if he continues to bring in NBA Lottery talent, then I suppose a season like this is bound to happen.

Gee whiz Wally, I wonder if getting the entire starting 5 getting drafted by the NBA helps at all with recruiting...

As depressing as it is, he won the big one, and they are no longer grumbling. Typical KU BB mentality.

JR Giddens was also drafted out of New Mexico. He got the boot from Kansas.

But about which, the fact that Self won it all, or still that he left?
They're an angry bunch when it comes to basketball

That is quite amazing. Especially when you throw in Giddens... has it ever happened before?

I think five of the top 6 getting drafted is amazing.
I also think Arthur will be the best pro out of the bunch. I thought he would go higher.

Um, national titles kind of have a way of doing that...to any fanbase.
