It is a good thing that third one is fiction. KU would go through alot of cars that way. Just picture him dropping in a car......

When asked about the ISU @ Iowa game: Iowa wide receiver Derrell Johnson-Koulianos said. "This has to be the most important game of the year. We've got to treat it like we're playing for a Big Ten championship."

Wonderful, is less need to move around the room a good thing for Mangino?

"Associate athletic director Chris Howard says KU's facilities now rank best or second-best in the Big 12"

Ummm.... apparently this guy has never seen the facilities at NU, UT, OSU, or OU.

Don't forget A&M. Their stadium rocks.

What KU wants and what it has are two different things. Just like ISU....

I was thinking the same thing - $31 mil is chump change to those schools. Add A&M also.

Re: KU unveils $31 million facility

What's misleading is that a good portion of the $31 mil probably was spent on custom made 60" doors and upgraded 500 PSF load bearing design in Mangino's office.

I've only seen it from the outside but from what I've read and the pictures of the inside it's really, really nice...and huge. It wouldn't surprise me if, at least that part, is among the best in the conference.

Swap A$M and Tech in your list there and you're correct.

KU simply did last year what our 2005 team SHOULD have been able to do with that schedule.....the same team that went 7-5 with 3 OT losses.

I was a doubter too, until KU played a "real" team, Virginia Tech, and beat them, in the Orange Bowl. They looked pretty impressive.

Too bad their stadium is still a joke. JT is going to make it look like a dump.

If $31 million is chump change, it must be a pretty big chump. Oh wait, we were talking about KU.
