What Texas topped us in revenue? Next thing you know we are going to hear that Oklahoma St. got more $$'s in donations then us.
It is pretty disgusting the amount of money they have. Take a stroll through their campus. DKR Memorial Stadium rises above the trees and buildings and you can see it from the middle of the campus, like a shrine. Everything is big, beautiful, and pristine. Quite impressive.
In other news, scientists learned today that water is wet. And this breaking weather development - our meteorologist says that tonight the sky will be dark...
At least we aren't last...hopefully Pollard will have us climbing up that chart in the future.
I have unending faith in Pollard, but he can only do so much. Under the Big XII's current TV setup, only the popular schools get rewarded, since they get more money for being on TV more often. The only way for us to get more of that money is get on TV more often, and Pollard doesn't really have control over that. We can only achieve that in the roundabout manner of winning games. That's a great goal, but it's also not terribly reliable- you can't count on teams to win 90% of their games a year every year for a decade. Conversely, Texas could go 0-12 in football and they'd still have every game televised.Quote:

Actually....Reading that was not as bad as I thought it would be. I was thinking of something more like Texas @ 15 Million and Us at 4 Million.
