It is pretty disgusting the amount of money they have. Take a stroll through their campus. DKR Memorial Stadium rises above the trees and buildings and you can see it from the middle of the campus, like a shrine. Everything is big, beautiful, and pristine. Quite impressive.

I have unending faith in Pollard, but he can only do so much. Under the Big XII's current TV setup, only the popular schools get rewarded, since they get more money for being on TV more often. The only way for us to get more of that money is get on TV more often, and Pollard doesn't really have control over that. We can only achieve that in the roundabout manner of winning games. That's a great goal, but it's also not terribly reliable- you can't count on teams to win 90% of their games a year every year for a decade. Conversely, Texas could go 0-12 in football and they'd still have every game televised.

I also remember a game with Kansas when Cy (wore a huge suit then) went out to center field, squatted, and "pooped" a couple of chickens that had been dyed blue then chased them around.
