Rumor going around right now that Baylor has hired John Wall's (#1 recruit for 2009) handler as an assistant coach and Wall will be following him to Waco. Most people think that Wall is a better version of Derrick Rose. That would give Baylor two 5* players for that class and a 4 star. Coach Drew is doing some amazing recruiting.
You know that Kansas is going to continue to be dominant and Texas will as well. They have a top 5 recruit for the 2009 season as well. Ford at OSU appears to be doing a great job recruiting and is a much much better coach than Sutton was. Martin at K State keeps pulling in top 50 talent and Oklahoma will be tough the next 2 years as well.
I think it is even more important that we get Barnes. People say that a player doesn't make a program and while that is true, he sure will help. If we want to be competitive in a couple years he is a must

Well, ever since Kansas went and became a football school...
Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice? Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this.
One difference for Baylor being that when the crap hits the fan, they don't have the "skills" to make things go away like KU does...I thought BU would have learned that by now...
"Don't worry Boss...they can't do nothin' 'til they're through sparklin'..."
I think more and more programs are starting to do this. People weren't recruiting Wall as much as they were trying to hire his coach. Yesterday everyone thought he was going to Okie St
Geez...Its almost like Baylor doesn't realize that they have been a Doormat (in sports we care about) since forever, a private smaller school and is just coming off a player that murdered someone else with the coach covering it up. If they can recover from that then what is our deal?
Make sure you don't call the charge. But make sure you call the foul on the scrum....

This post sums up my thoughts exactly! Programs are turned around very quickly these days. There is nothing illegal about what Baylor is doing. Like it or not, this is the way of major college basketball.
