It was one of the Morris twins that is still waiting to get cleared grade wise to play for KU.

Are you serious??? They arrest him for shooting them with an Airsoft plastic BB? Thats a stretch, they sting a little more than a water pistol.

I guess if you are the one who gets shot with the stupid thing, you may feel a little different about the guy being arrested. No valid reason exists for him to shoot an unexpecting victim.

Now if he was screwing around with some buddies and shot one of them, I would agree it would be a big stretch to arrest him.

It is still assault if the victim feels that way. Seeing he is a future KU basketball player, it won't matter. Small fine and some community service.

Well, then by all means, it's ok.

It would be nice if some people would learn that you can't do whatever you want - just because you want to.

I tend to think that shooting things at women just generally lacks class, at best.

Too bad Kansas doesn't have an informal route that could be taken by the mother. I would guess that if her daughter is on scholarship that may be in limbo depending on how this turns out.

I don't know if I want to laugh at this because the guy from the gun store said it, or because they actually put it in the paper.
Neal Barnes, who runs Neal’s Airgun Repair in Kansas City, said the gun probably doesn’t have the velocity to penetrate skin from a distance. He did say that it could take somebody’s eye out, though.

What is the deal with their status, are they taking some summer high school classes in order to qualify? I really don't understand this, but since it's KU b-ball I'm sure they will be approved by the time KU classes start.

How are they living in the dorms if they haven't qualified yet? I assume if they are not qualified they could not have enrolled for Fall.
