Kool Aid Continues to flow/glow in Lincoln Too

Now local blogger is quoting EA Sports as the reason for eternal optimism in Mudville. Looks like a gaudy RED record to me.

EA Sports bullish on Huskers in 2008 - Grand Island, NE - Grand Island Independent

Nebraska 38, Iowa St. 10 -- No. 11-ranked Nebraska broke open a tight 10-7 game at halftime by outscoring Iowa State 28-3 in the second half at Ames, Iowa, to improve to 7-0 overall and 3-0 in Big 12 play.

Quarterback Joe Ganz, injured early in the previous week's win at Texas Tech, returned to complete 24-of-33 pass attempts for 210 yards and four TDs with two interceptions. Tyler Wortman's six tackles led a stingy Nebraska defense. Iowa State managed just 214 total yards, 111 yards coming through the air.

EIU is the other Okoboji University for serious students and home of Captain Kirk who pilots the Enterprise on its Trek through the Universe for finding his next great job. Captain, beware of your Superbowl.

I seem to remember that the NCAA Football 2008 simulation that the Husker commentators did on the ISU-Nebraska game last year ended up in the Cyclones winning in Lincoln. Funny, they didn't seem to put much stock in it then.

Can I comment on the article over there on how I put up 522 on Nebraska's D last night in a close 49-3 game?
