Mizzou should win the north, but it won't be easy. The north will be TAR (tuff as rain for those of you who don't know the legendary TuffTiger/Roger Sprague).

I was going to commend the group on its sports knowledge and claim there is in fact intelligent life on the internet.
Until, that is, I saw a vote placed for Kansas State. | |

I picked Kansas just because I do not like Missouri! I just think if the tigers are going to act like a Tech team and score a bunch of points and give up a bunch of points, a few teams in the big 12 will have the speed to slow them down enough to beat them, just like they do with Tech. I watched the game Saturday and I did not think Missouri looked unbeatable. It may not be Iowa State this year, but others have team speed to keep up with them.

As much as it pained me to do so I had to pick Mizzou. I concour with the sentiment above concerning the K-State pick.

I'm ready for Gary Pinkel to blow the North this season. See you in Ames buddy! Hope there aren't any holding calls late in the game for you to complain about.

1) The fourth quarter in Columbia, 2005
2) The media slobbers all over him.

If Mizzou stays healthy, they will win with little effort. If they stay healthy and don't win, their coach will be run out of town. IMHO

If Mizzou wants to win the North, their defense coordinator and staff will have their work cut for them.

4-4 in conference for ISU - I'll take that this year. Should put us at 7 or 8 wins.
Wonder where the wins come from?
Baylor, A&M presumably?

Their Big 12 schedule is:
at ISU - not a gimme
CU - should win
at OU - should lose
Tech - could be close but I'd say loss
KSU - rivalry game but they should win
at Neb - should win but playing in Lincoln is tough
Texas - Probable loss
at Missouri - Probably loss
Right now, 4 of their conference games are against teams in the top 12 in the nation. If they win 1 of those, they will be doing well.
