Anybody else watching KSU/CU?
Colorado pulled the RS off of their True FR QB (Tyler Hansen). He came in and performed very well... given, it's against arguably the worst Defense in the conference. Cody Hawkins is a SO.
I'm not trying to start a war, just pointing it out. Thought it was interesting, given our situation.
The game is a total pillow-fight, and I think we could beat either team. No, seriously. I mean it. -

Us losing totally turns me off on football for the rest of the day.

Did somebody drink a little too much at the game today? A program isn't built on one player and it doesn't succeed because of one player, thus a program won't fail if it doesn't get that one player. -

Re: Anybody else watching KSU/CU?
This season is a loss for ISU. If the staff is honest when they say we are building for the future there is no way Tillers RS should come off. The best way to ruin him is play him the way this team is playing now.
They have to be bad if ISU could beat them right now.

CU just won, 14-13. Coach Hawkins was talking about Cody Hawkins and Hansen "supporting" and "being happy for each other" in the post-game interview.
Hansen kid got an interview after the game as well.

Re: Anybody else watching KSU/CU?
Was Hawkins playing badly, or did he get injured....?
Seems odd to pull a RS for anything other than injury.

Re: Anybody else watching KSU/CU?
I agree. We at least have a shot against these two--just wish we were playing in Ames.

Re: Anybody else watching KSU/CU?
Colorado fans were clamoring to try that new QB... I don't think Hawkins wanted to do it, but I can see why the fans like him.

And that Colorado team has more talent than the experience level of ISU's talent right now. Totally different set of circumstances.

Re: Anybody else watching KSU/CU?
Just call us the ISU Newbies. Still think someone will get some snaps by end of season if this get really ugly. Scoring only one touchdown a game will sell out any team hopes.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style.
