    Mizzou's new DC named

People think we have trouble finding coaches. MU names linebacker coach the new DC " a couple of hours before spring practice". Now that screams last resort to me.

Yeah it's a little bit interesting the fact that teams are having trouble with the DC position.

Considering the conditions, I think Paul Rhoads gets a perfect 10 on his hiring of his coordinators. I can't think of another situation that would have worked out better.

I guess no one wants to take that job in the Big 12 right now.

    What about Wally?
I don't think I'm alone when I say I'd like to see more and more planets fall under the ruthless domination of our solar system.

He might not have come over if we hadn't agreed to hire his son. I believe he has been quoted as saying he looked forward to the chance to coach with his son.
Also, with the struggles USF had hiring a replacement, he may not have had the best work environment there.

I'm getting the feel that there was something going on at USF. I guess they have lost alot of coaches over the past few years. I'm sympathetic.

"Pinkel also hired former Missouri player Barry Odom to an assistant coaching position in charge of the Tigers' safeties."

When is the last time ISU hired a former player to be a coach? I'm pretty old and I can't think of any.

They maybe see the writing on the wall. It's bound to be a down year for them with what they're loosing.

How many former cyclones are coaching? Besides Atif Austin, I can't of any. That might have more to do with why we haven't hired any. We do currently have Barkema on staff a GA however.

Bob Montgomery is an assistant for Terry Allen.

Actually, the more I read about the new DC for mizzo, I think it's not that bad of a hire. Their defense couldn't be that much worse from last year anyway.
