Re: Anderson to Georga???
I think Anderson will take any job that will allow him to get out of Columbia before he has to deal with the wrath of the results of Missouri's season next year - it's not going to be pretty down there...

Going to Georgia is not a step up though...

I've had this conversation with several people. Opinions have varied on whether he could repeat this season for Missouri. Personally, I think he should leave as quickly as possible.

Re: Anderson to Georgia???
Georgia worked great for Tubby Smith. The right coach can do good things there. Most coaches can't do much.
Jim Harrick can do well and destroy the program. Just depends on the fit.

Jim Harrick can do well and destroy the program. Just depends on the fit. You could say that about any program.

I was making the point regarding Georgia specifically to point out that it has been done at Georgia, so it may not be as odd as it may sound at first for him to consider that school.
You're definitely right, and I could have worded that better.

2 mil/year, make sure you get a long term deal so you collect while not working or get bought out... He's in the perfect position to take it to Georgia if they're offering.

I would much rather be in a division with ISU, Nebraska, Colorado, K-State, Kansas than I would Florida, Kentucky, Tennessee, South Carolina, and Vandy.

And the patience level of SEC schools isn't really renowned for being high.
