Sadly, Cody is really the only thing positive and thats not saying much. Who are these guys playing defense for CU? I think some really ugly things could happen in Big 12 play....and don't they play West Virginia too?

What!? Their backup, Tyler Hanson looked, IMO, MUCH MUCH better last year...instead, they are going to redshirt him this year. If I'm the coach, I pull Hawkins and put in Hanson. Then again, I'm not the coach, and the quarterback is not my son.

Completely agree. Pull Cody. I can't believe Toledo has put up 51 against them. Is anyone playing for CU?

I normally like to see other Big XII teams do well in non-conference schedules, as it makes the conference look better as a whole. That said,

1) I grew up in Nebraska (hate CU)
2) Get treated horribly in every trip to Boulder as an ISU fan (hate CU)
3) Go to grad school at Colorado State (hate CU)

Dan Hawkins seems like a good guy, but how long has he been there? Is this season 3? He's getting a lot of leeway from the ESPN announcers about the rebuilding project. Colorado was surely down when he took over, but were they really that bad?

This is Hawkins' 4th season I believe. I think the announcers are building him up so much to shield the backlash that CU fans must be feeling right now. I mean, I hope by year 4 under Rhoads we aren't letting a team like Toledo drop 51 on us.

I do not care if the conference looks bad. I'm an ISU fan, and have no care for any other team in the conference. That is why I hate the SEC tools that chant SEC! SEC! at games.
