Looks like they got their first loss a week late.
Dang.
Not over yet, least acording to espn
I'm ok with this as long as they don't win another game all year. I have no problem with Kansas losing. Would like to see Mizzou pull this off against OSU.
Auburn loses to Kentucky
It's over.
Hawkins keeps doing just enough...I'm OK with this.
"I would have been ok with this ONLY if we had beat kansas last week as well... now it just either makes us look weak for losing, and/or the colorado game is going to be more challenging than we give it credit for "
This is flawed logic and shows no balls and no confidence. ISU played KU in Lawrence. CU played KU in Boulder. Do you really think KU would have beat the Clones in Ames? You can worry about how something looks all day long. Kick ***** and looks become someone else's concern. Why in the hell do ISU fans spend so much time being concerned with what others think of them, their University and their teams? Kick ***** and tell others to shove it!
Whatever keeps Hawk in Boulder is fine with me.
Reesing's last pass was INCREDIBLY close to being caught. CU's DB made the play by literally an inch or two.
Honestly, this doesn't surprise some Big 12 observers, including yours truly. I posted on another thread last week that Colorado has a lot of talent on their roster and is much, much better than their 1-4 record might indicate. I also expressed the sentiment that they probably would win their share of games before the season was over, and this is certainly a start for them. From a talent perspective, I would place them easily alongside of Kansas, Nebraska, and Missouri and far superior to the rest of the North division teams. If Cody Hawkins continues to carry the clipboard (which he will), they will finish fourth in the North, worst case scenario, and it wouldn't surprise me if they finished higher.
