Big 12 Point Spreads for Saturday
Nebraska by 17 1/2 Over ISU
K-State by 3 over Colorado
Oklahoma by 7 over Kansas
Oklahoma State by 10 over Baylor
Texas by 13 1/2 over Missouri
Texas Tech by 22 over Texas A&M
I love Oklahoma State at -10. The game is in Waco but still....
Also, I think I'd take Tech and -22. I haven't watched A&M play this season but like I wrote yesterday, if K-State scored 62 against the Aggies, what is Mike Leach capable of doing?
Re: Big 12 Point Spreads for Saturday
Those lines sound about right. That OSU/Baylor line makes you kind of curious. I'm not sure that I agree with the ISU/NU line, but then again, when we haven't won there since '77, what can you really expect. I'd expect that line to close somewhere around 14.5.

Chris, I think the lock of the week is Colorado @ K State. K State is improving at warp speed. Here's how the rank, respectively, in 3 key categories: Scoring Offense: 78/58 Scoring D: 100/63
Turnover Mgn: 77/24 The cats should cover that miniscule 3 point advantage by a bunch.

Solid points...I think that Colorado is getting better too...but after what K-State did offensively last week, it's hard to pick against them at home when they're playing a Dan Hawkins team.
Re: Big 12 Point Spreads for Saturday
If Texas Tech defeated K-State by 52 points, and K-State defeated A&M by 48 points, then by the transitive property, Tech ought to beat A&M by 100 points. Approximately.

I'd love that, really. And I can hear Leach now in post-game, after a 100-0 win...
Look, those boys at A&M are a bunch of narcissists, ok? While we were practicing all week, they were Twittering - is that what you call it - Twittering? That just sounds perverse...the NCAA needs to look into that. Anyway, they were being narcissistic all week instead of preparing for us. I told out guys, if we could win this one by 100, we could bring the end Twitter...and maybe even shut down the entire internet...forever! That'll show Al Gore...

I like MU at home covering against UT. I think MU can hang with UT and would not be shocked at a Red River hangover upset.
Re: Big 12 Point Spreads for Saturday
Empty your bank account and put it on Okie to cover that 7 against KU. That is a lock!!!
Re: Big 12 Point Spreads for Saturday
I'm not sure Nebraska has the offense to score 17+ on ISU, I think NU will win, but by that margin?

I don't think the Colorado defense will allow K state to put on a offensive performance like they did Saturday. I think Colorado will win this one.
Re: Big 12 Point Spreads for Saturday
Colorado is playing much better the last couple games. Home field will probably give it to KSU though.

They have put up 49, 55, and 38 point totals in 3 different games this season. We can't beat any of those numbers with any of our games. We have also given up 35 and 41 points in two of our games. Nebraska has the ability to put up 30ish on us, IMO. I'm not saying that they will, but they could beat us by 17 if our offense is having trouble with the tough Nebraska defense.

Take the bolded teams.
Re: Big 12 Point Spreads for Saturday
Oklahoma will beat Kansas by 3 scores. They will run all over them and Reesing will actually face heat for the first time all year
Re: Big 12 Point Spreads for Saturday
I am thinking that 3-3 reality has set in at Norman and they will not be what they thought they were going to be. Kansas may surprise, yet still lose. Kansas may have the two best receivers; Rieson is like grease, and the OU defense may be challenged more than by any other team in the Big 12. Of couse, the stodgy KU defense will have to play the game of their lives.
