Anyone notice this? Tex A&M 52, TT 30

Seems like these teams always come alive right before we play them. Texas A&M piled 52 points on the road, AT Texas Tech. This game will not be easy.

Ha, And it's easy to play at Nebraska.
Texas Tech isn't half as hard to play at as Nebraska.
And we beat them with our backups; I think we'll be fine, considering A&M still lost to K-State AT HOME 62-10 or something ridiculous like that

Ya this game worries me. Will the real A&M please stand up, last week they got blown out 62-0 @ KSU. It seems like they can score some weeks. I hope our scorers r back this week.

A&M throws the ball around like KU does. Last year they KILLED us passing. I think we'll have to score 30 to win this one.

I'm gonna tuck this one away for the next time I need an example of an unreasonable and uninformed ISU fan with crazy expectations - it's usually these types that will start the ridiculous calls for someone's head.

And back to cyclonenate, Tech beat NU in Lincoln more convincingly than we did and still got handled by A&M. If by 'we'll be fine', you mean we should go into the game with a solid shot to win if we play at the peak of our potential AND have Arob and AA back at near full strength, then I agree with you. If instead you mean that anything less than a 3 TD victory means coaches or players are doing something terribly wrong and deserve negative consequences, well, that would be ridiculous.

we won one big game on the road. I do not think that it is time to start penciling in wins based on that accomplishment alone. If our players go into college station with an attitude like this, they'll hit us in the mouth and we'll lose by 30. don't underestimate the opposition, that's how good teams get beat by lesser ones year in and year out.

Agree. We won't see this against A&M and they put up big numbers last time out. We will need to muster up more than 9 points to keep this game from getting out of hand.

I think that AA&M did us an immense favor in spanking Tech. No one is going to be floating along on leftover emotion after seeing that score.

I am not trying to be negative, but let's face the facts. NU crapped down their leg. I don't think we can expect ANY team we play for the rest of year to crap down their leg like that. While winning this game was a big step for us, I can't see how people can automatically think we win every game the rest of the year, OR that A&M is an easy game.

Tech has 5 turnovers against AM. That is something we HAVE to avoid.

We must win the turnover battle. Our depleted secondary is going to struggle, so we need to keep the ball in our own hands.
