Forget OSU...It's NEBRASKA!
All this talk about OSU into the BCS to help us move up in Bowls (and keep EIU out), but I like the guarantee - Have NE beat TX in the Big XII Championship game and guarantee 2 in from the Big XII. Sure it knocks TX out of the National Championship but much better us.
Just a thought....

Re: Forget OSU...It's NEBRASKA!
There is a better chance that OSU beats OU than Nebraska beating Texas.

Neither Nebraska, Oklahoma State, or any Big 12 team other than Texas should be playing in a BCS bowl this year.

What about K-State! Have them beat Nebraska and go to the title game. Then they can pull the miracle and beat Texas and go to a BCS bowl at 8-5!! I Love the BCS!!

The pokes have lost to a good Houston team and a great longhorn team. And don't say Iowa either. If you can't find an argument to let OSU in then you certainly can find an argumet to let Iowa in ( Or Penn state for that matter).

Robinson didn't play last night. That is why they struggled they couldn't do much but run.

Colorado's offense moved the ball last night as well as they did against ISU, difference being they played more discipline last night as they did not turn the ball over near as much or rack up over 100 yards in penalties.

Re: Forget OSU...It's NEBRASKA!
I think OU is missing 4 guys off their O And D-Lines. Plus they have other issues.
Should be a good game.
Make sure you don't call the charge. But make sure you call the foul on the scrum.... -

Oh boy, I can hear them crawling out from under their rocks now.

I disagree.....Oklahoma State has a BCS ranking above both Iowa and Penn State and should they beat Oklahoma next week, that separation will jump greatly. Plus who is a more entertaining team to watch Penn St, Iowa or Oklahoma State.....its clear OSU if they win next week deserves the BCS bowl, they will be the best 2 loss team in the country.
A side note: Iowa-Minnesota will be a tough game without stanzi.....Minnesota is ****** about the whoppin they took last year, and have been waiting to get revenge on Iowa - dont be surprised if they come off the bus a bit ****** off.
Second side note: Penn St is playing at Michigan State and that will not be an easy game. Michigan State is trying to position themselves for a better bowl and that would include having to beat penn state to get 7 wins. Look for this to be a slugfest with Michigan State possibly pulling the upset.
A lot of football to be played out to determine who's playin where.....We as ISU fans need to hope for an Iowa and Penn St loss and OSU victory next week. There would be no second guessing then that OSU is deserving of a BCS bowl. If that plays out, then obviously all the big 12 teams move up the pecking order for bowls and the bowl pot gets bigger!!!!

Re: Forget OSU...It's NEBRASKA!
I wouldn't discount Nebraska in the Big 12 title game. Remember this game? Nebby was 21 point favorites and ranks 3rd nationally (TX was unranked). Sound familiar?

Nebraska has shown they can play up (or down) to any team this year. I wouldn't be surprised if it was a close game and Nebraska pulls off an upset (I also wouldn't be surprised if they lose to KSU and make this all moot).
