We are all biased but I thought they did a great job. They made two huge charge calls with less than four minutes to go. It takes balls to make those calls against the #1 overall seed playing a mid-major. Great calls from the officials and great game!

Good teams win no matter who is officiating the game!!

So, does Jacobsen get a lifetime contract after this or does he jump ship to coach at a bigger program, because you know people are going to look at his body of work and consider him a candidate now that he's got a VERY signature win to hang his hat on.

I think he is a candidate for almost any job out there. He has now won back to back MVC titles and has a sweet sixteen team under his belt. Remember when Alford jumped ship to Iowa? It was after their tourney run. Iowa would be a good job but I think he is a bad fit there. If Oregon comes calling, which I don't think they will, he needs to listen. I think they are going to go after Mark Few pretty hard.

More jobs will open up, it's only a matter of time before he cashes in.

His guys play with great discipline and passion. That's a rare combination. I'm on the bandwagon - hope they can keep winning.

My favorite was a thread I saw there yesterday where a guy was blaming the committee for seeding UNI too low.

You fatsos that were with the UNI official contingent screaming "**** Kansas" with your greasy, fat middle fingers extended in the air outside of the Ford center right after game deserve to die while choking on a whole chicken.

I think this guy saw Mangino after the game.

KU fans reap what they sow.

Arrogant jackholes chanting Rock Chalk in an opponents stadium tainted my willingness to ever support their bball program.

Sour grapes for sure, but that bitter taste doesn't leave your mouth.

With that being said, Self is a class guy so I feel for him a litte bit.

For everybody laughing at their arrogance in regards to their Men's BBall Program, I'd advise many of you to merely look at the front page of this very board. Right now, there is a thread referring to a third place finish in Wrestling as "disappointing." This is really no different from what we're doing right now.
