Re: If you were Beebe for a day . . .
I agree, the Big 12 has some leverage with the Pac 10 in that we offer more National Exposure. This is the best option for keeping the Big 12 intact plus we are able to keep Colorado. Hopefully we can keep NU and CU. Losing MU would stink, but not the end of the world.

Texas: umm no, that's not going to happen. We run the Big 12, not you, Beebe..
Beebe: yeah.... you're right. *gets back on knees*
Texas: yeah, that's what I thought, Beebs.

Texas: KY or no KY today.
Fixed it for you.

Re: If you were Beebe for a day . . .
I would call the 9 ADs that would vote for equal revenue sharing, once I got 9 to agree I would schedule a vote on it. Then I would tell everyone I am working on a television deal with the Pac 10, big east, and acc so that we could jump ahead of the SEC, Big 10 tv contracts.

That would effectively be the end of the B12. Texas is the anchor like it or not.

ISU having a bigger athletic budget is in TU's best interest, more competitive inside and out of the conference.

Fine, I bet the Big XII North (6) and Baylor, Texas Tech and possibly even Okie State would vote yes. Depends on what kind of FB season if aTm says yes or not.

So, if Mizzou, Nebraska and Colorado were to leave, I would try to get Arkansas, Tulsa and TCU and make the Big 12 regions be:
North:
ISU
KSU
Kansas
Oklahoma
Oklahoma State
Tulsa
South:
Texas
Texas A&M
TCU
Baylor
Texas Tech
Arkansas
Tulsa
2009: 4-7
2008: 11-3
2007: 10-4
2006: 8-5
2005: 9-4
2004: 4-8
2003: 8-5 Any thoughts on Tulsa in the Big 12? Well, since that's where I'm going to be starting grad school this fall, I say go for it.
