Big 10 athletic directors talk expansion
I guess I found the last paragraph the most interesting. Michigan's AD is most concerned about geography in trying to balance cost and time out of class.
Expansion hot-button topic at Big Ten meetings - ESPN

Here is a good story from the KC Star: Big Ten widens expansion speculation - KansasCity.com
Basically Delaney is saying the population is shifting south, we need to follow the shift.
IMO, I don't think they know what they want yet. If population is the concern, backed up by some ADs including Gene Smith, Nebraska and Mizzou make NO sense.
Texas and Texas A&M does but that creates a major issue with traveling costs that may not go over well.
I think this is just being discussed and probably nothing comes from it. Why expand just to expand with Nebr and Mizzou when it doesn't address your concerns? They may be discussing this to make it look like other schools want to join in order to land the one fish they really care about, Notre Dame.
