Two noteworthy hiccups tonight in Pac 10/Neb and MU
1-the Big 12 has giving Nebraska and Missouri until Friday to decide if they want to be in the Big 12 or not.
2-Texas legislation is now pushing the Pac 10 to take Baylor and not Colorado.
If Baylor gets saved in all this crap and ISU gets no backing from our state if the Big 12 crumbles, I will be royally ******.

And that will be a travisty. I do think KU, K-State, sCUm and ISU make a more attractive foursome than KU/KSU/ISU/Baylor

What does it all mean, Basil?
Now that MBB is back, do we still have to pretend that WBB matters?

What's to stop MU and NU from stating that they are firmly entrentched in the Big12 and have no plans of leaving, only to bolt in a few months when the Big10 comes calling? Will they force them to sign new contracts to skyrocket the buyout clause? Other than that, the Big12 can't do anything about it.

May I ask where this info came from.
The gap in our economy is between what we have and what we think we ought to have--and that is a moral problem, not an economic one. - Paul Heyne -

Probably some big ***** buyouts.

That is my question and what does the state of Texas have to do with the Pac 10, let alone a private baptist university and a university from another state? Talk about intruding!
Even if true, what are they really going to do about it? Just about the only thing is to say Texas can't go without Baylor. Really? Is Baylor really that popular that the State of Texas will not only interfere but say that their pride and joy in UT can't go somewhere better without Baylor (a private university)?

I have no hard feelings against Baylor, if they get a piece of this, good for them I guess. But the fact that sCUm gets screwd after dying to get into PAC-10 for years tickles my pickle.

Wouldn't be the first time Baylor got lucky. Same thing happened when the Big 12 was formed.
