I think this is the only place I've seen the thought of NU joining the MWC.

BTW - that's Sipple? To listen to him on the radio I'd swear he was 95.

LOL. Real level-headed piece. UT is arrogant. MU is undignified. But NU is classy.

This situation looks very bad for ISU, but I would find it very funny if ND and the Big 10 punk NU and MU.

Or perhaps the deadline amounts to Texas, the unofficial voice of the league, saying, “Let us know your plans. If we don’t get an answer soon, we have other options, as you’re well aware.” Those options reportedly include Texas jumping to the Pac-10 and taking five Big 12 teams with it.

Yeah Steve, Texas plans are hinging on what Nebraska might do.......Read the article and it's easy to see Nebraska is fueling a lot of this expansion talk because they want the Big 10 invite worse than a crack head looking for their next fix.

I can't stand Sipple. Not because he is anti-Nebraska or pro-Nebraska, but because he never reports anything of substance. Ever. He is the most wishy washy journalist I have ever seen.

Every time I hear him on the radio in Omaha, his initial response to almost every question is, "Oh, I don't know......." He takes forever to formulate a response in his head, and then when he does offer an opinion, it's completely non-committal. He's tough to listen to.

Some common ground....

At lease there is hope that you will gain a level of common sense that Garn91 has. Wingback on the other hand is a lost cause if he thinks Sipple is "very level-headed". Sipple is the whiniest, Sker kool-aid gulping "journalist" in the state - he has a great deal of competition, but he truly is an a league of his own.

Curious who you think the best Nebraska journalists are. In my opinion the top three are easily McKeown, Barknecht, and Chatelain.

No question, McKeown is the best.

Just for your enjoyment however, as I recall, Sipple is a graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism. And for the record, I haven't always agreed with him, but I have never seen Sipple to be the type of writer who jumps off the "deep end" either. Hence, why I referred to him as "level headed."

That is his biggest problem. He is a master of writing an entire article without making one single point.
