Georgia Tech??? Umm no. Nebraska, Syracuse, Rutgers, Notre Dame and either Pitt, UConn, or Missouri. Most likely Pitt or Missouri. People on here need to understand that the Big 10 has 0 interest in KU, KSU, and ISU. They bring NOTHING to the table for them.

The Big 10 commish said in his meetings a couple of weeks ago that they would like a south east presence also. Atlanta is a huge television market. Georgia Tech is a very good academic school and would fit the criteria perfectly with what the Big 10 is looking for. It is not that far fetched that Georgia Tech joins the Big 10, it would be a huge upgrade for them over the ACC.

Re: What if....
Yeah, K-State will never be in the Big Ten. It's ISU without the academics and national championship trophies.

Even if it was, GT reached a BCS bowl with an average team last year; you can not do better than that. Academically, the ACC is very good, although different than the Big 10, more of a private feel. The new ACC TV deal should give them more money than before.
Also, the armor of the ACC schools is strong enough to fend-off outsiders.
