a guy from chicago has been posting on the northwestern board (and its gotten a ton of attention the last week) and supposedly has a friend that works for the BTN. He posted it last night...claiming that texas to the pac 10 was not a done deal and that UT and ATM would hold discussions on B10.

he also claims the Big East is putting pressure on ND to join in footbal or leave altogher. The B10 has claimed to not raid the Big east if they could get ND.

Yes, it will take at least 7 of the members to vote to dissolve to cancel the buyout which obviously would be unlikely. I still think it is nine because of where I found that info, but it is just a hunch, no solid info.

Exactly. We just need to hold on for a decade because we know Texas will ultimately ruin that conference too. A division, with OSU, Texas, Michigan and Penn State. There is not a room large enough for al of those egos.

this is hilarious- people really don't care about traditions. I personally don't care about maintaining our schedule with Oklahoma, but does anybody here remember when people wanted a playoff and bowl proponents were like: TRADITION! If we lose that, we have NOTHING! Now, there is no talk about teams losing old, storied match ups.
