Wonder what it means about remaining Big XII school's availabity?
Why did they wait earlier in the week? Conventional wisdom was to see if they could pickup a Big XII team (or few) that my be better than BSU. Certainly they didn't expect to nab NU, UT, OU. Maybe CU, but come on!?!
So why wait 3-4 days, take BSU anyway, when what you supposedly were waiting for, did in fact happen?

Perhaps the conference became more attractive to Boise with the possibility that some former Big 12 teams were coming on board, or Boise coming on board makes the conference more attractive to the Big 12 teams? Or both?
