Well . . are those rabid hawk fans and media will have one less championship caliber program to contend with as the Hawks cruise to those easy NCAA championships in wrestling. So I guess there is a positive.

We're currently in a 12 team conference where we don't play the entire conference (in football). This is irrelevant.

What is relevant is keeping the BE as a viable conference, keeping ISU et al as viable athletic schools, and enhancing the revenue opportunities for both sides of the deal. If those three work themselves out, the schedule and other points will work themselves out.

Man counting anything but VW bugs is lame. Shame on Volkswagon for hijacking an American tradition for their marketing purposes. It is an American tradition isn't it?

According to Dan Beebe in his presser yesterday, he was told by Jim Delaney that the Big Ten is not considering any other Big XII teams.

I agree 100%. I'm ****** at VW for doing this. I've let anyone that might try and play with me (including my kids) that if they try and play even Slug New Beetle let alone Slug VW with me, they're getting a beatdown.
