Well, now that the guy has covered all angles, there's no possible way the guy could be wrong now...

    Dear God, no.

4 north teams and 6 south? I want no part of that. Even WITH nebraska and CU, it was the TX conference. If the Big East has put any kind of invitation out, I say we go.

    Will he refute this???

Sorry to say this is the best news for us (If true) we all hate Texas but they rule the roost. If KU goes to the Pac 11 the Big East wants nothing with us. If the Big 12 folds we are MWC WAC MAC or USA bound.

Stop with the big east talk, they are not inviting us. Best oppurtunity is to keep the big12 teams alive, and invite 6 MWC teams.

Did the Pac 10 commish leave Austin yet? That would be a sign that he has not talked Texas into moving yet.

If we can get out, lets go. If not, this is clearly our best option.

Again, I really hope they stay with the 10 (or 9) and don't add and go to a conference championship.

This is true. I have a feeling we can improve as a team playing a tougher schedule consistently. I think some years roll around and we have an easier schedule which slows down improvement.

We have made solid enough steps forward in the past 10 years that we should be able to continue improving with a consistently tough schedule. It could be very ugly for a few years, but if we hit it with the right attitude, it could help us become more of a competitor. Instead of worrying in those years we have to play UT, it will become old hat, no jitters, just another game, hopefully one we can eventually become competitive in and start to pull a few out.

But Mack ain't gonna let up for CPR like he did for cheezy-poof.
