Best Hoops League in the Country?

Well, four of our easiest games annually are off the schedule, but the league, if no more re-alignment takes place, is quite strong top-to-bottom. If the league can keep Anderson, Frank, Capel, Turg, etc. around, it should be a 6-7 bid team every year, which would be a great number for a 10-team league. And BTW, the 10-team league would be a 18-game, full round-robin schedule.

Addition by subtraction! I just hope Hoiberg gets off to a good start because once a team gets branded as a cellar-dweller, it's a tough label to shake.

Yep, things just got much tougher on Freddie. But I know he is up for the challenge and will do great things here. I'm looking forward to the future of Iowa State basketball, something I couldn't say 3 months ago.

At least he gets a year with Nebraska and two with Colorado still here to get things going a bit. That should help a bit.

I'm not too worried about us holding our own weight in basketball. Give Freddie a few years to get things going and were going to be one of the elite schools. Oh and Hilton will be again an electrifying places to see a game.....unless your the visiting coach and team. Go cyclones.
