So did ANYTHING change whatsoever? How do we even know there will be a new TV contract? How are we all going to make more $? I want to know what Beebee showed Texas, OU, etc that convinced them to stay.

I agree. This sucks, and the fact that we are basically a forgotten institution in our own conference is just a piece of crap. 5 schools have NO bargaining power against 1 school in Texas???

I am not feeling good about this either. Net we get no increase in $ for 4 years, no one time benefit from exit fees, gap between ISU & BIG 10, PAC 10, SEC schools & Old Big 12 south continues to grow.

You said it earlier, we'll be guaranteed on TV and make money that way. Our current contracts with Fox/Espn stay the same but only "divided" over 10 teams and not 12. yay

Had the conference commissioner not been hiding under his desk with his tail between his legs for the past 4 months we wouldn't be getting raped repeatedly by Texas. Because he didn't do his job we are the ones that are going to suffer from the fallout. Texas has made us and the other 4 leftovers their ***** and now there is nothing we can do about it. Getting 3 mill from the Mountain West vs taking it in the shorts from Texas and getting 14 mill a year from the Big 12? Perhaps we chose the Devil We Know instead of the Devil We Dont Know.

But increase in Big 12 revenue will help get the regents off our backs and work to make our athletic department "self sufficient", correct??

Probably didn't have much of a choice or Texas would threaten to leave. This is a bunch of horse ****.

Ideally, I don't mind Texas making more money than ISU's of the conference because they are a gravy train, but those 3 schools are absolutely raping us.

Were we not a member of the conference??

I hope JP and the other AD's of the "forgotten 5" are trying to make some backdoor deals with other conferences (Big East) and tell Texas they can go **** themselves.
