Now that I've been introduced to 810 I haven't listened all but 15 minutes. It was one of the best decisions that I made. They actually care about the Big12 without acting like shock jocks. When the big12 looked like it was dissolving they actually sounded disappointed, not excited like some in this market.

I always find it interesting that there are threads with hundreds of posts -- one just last week -- of people who don't listen to Matt or will never listen again. Yet, they always seem to know exactly what he's said. And one earlier today went on and on about how terrible Deace is. But, again...no one listens to him and Jon Miller. Riiiight.

I like Ken, and I get annoyed by Matt, but you pick your poison. I can handle Matt and sometimes agree with him. I still listen to them and when they talk about stuff I don't care about, I flip over to Marty (gasp!). And if he's blathering on, which he often does, I flip over to the FM side and try to find decent music. I'd suggest turning it off if you don't like Matt -- really, turn it off, don't just say you will. Internets threats about "advertiser boycotts" are a joke. Personally, I think Matt needs to borrow a technique from Deace -- several years ago, Deace posted all of his advertisers and told people to call them. "Sure...let them know you listen," he'd say. I mean let's face it, are you really not going to go to Prairie Meadows just because Matt was picking on our football team? Doubt it.

Some have never liked him. I didn't mind him until we hired Hoiberg and he was a total ****** about it. I think after John Walters owned him live on the radio, his stock went way down.
Since the Hoiberg hire, giggles has gone out of his way to disrespect ISU through the expansion fiasco and has probably ruined any chance of ever having anyone from the athletic department on his show.
He made his own bed and now gets to sleep in it (Probably with another dude too)

At least Ken is back. It was funny earlier Gigs kept going on about how now Texas will never play in an 80K hostile stadium again. Ken finally came in and said well they are just losing Nebraska on the point.

We need a CyBookie event on the time or lack of time it takes Mr. Giggles to succome to his dumb laugh. Today, it took him less than 5 seconds to do so.....I then turned the show off.

I think its fair to say Jon Miller, Deace and Sportstalk Matt have tried their damndest to paint the worst possible scenario for Iowa State and now that it has not come to fruition, they will all make fun of the fab 5 for bowing to the South - well - you 3 were the ones telling us all we had no other Plausible options - Sportstalk Matt kept saying the MWC would be our best fit...blah, blah blah, Jon Miller was so giddy that he was already proclaiming Iowa shouldn't play Iowa State and while Deace tried to stay even keel he comes out today and says this is a bad deal for only Iowa State? I guess I am at fault for thinking any one of these 3 would have some valuable input just like all of the other non-legit media outlets speculating, commentating and gasp "reporting" on it.

My suggestion to all of these talking heads -rather than bag on Iowa State at every chance - how about turn your attention to the unbelievable policys and greed that have allowed Collegiant Sports to get this way? No one is innocent - we took the money, Texas took the money and everyone else is taking the money - this will continue until tax codes and laws are in place to ensure Texas can never again **** with everyone like this, or the big 10, or any of these people with the "power"

Let me guess:
1-Caller started to say something that Matt didn't like.
2-Caller was interupted.
3-Caller went Walters.
4-Matt unable to let ANYONE finish had Ken hang up on caller.
5-Matt talked about being 33, or some other one of his odd hangups.

I listened to Patrick this a.m., got in car-calmly plugged in ipod when I heard "i am 33" speaking.
