New developments in the KU ticket scandal.
Former Kansas athletics official pleads guilty - Yahoo! Sports
Well, one former KU Athletic Dept. official has been convicted and must pay a big fine. I hope the others involved receive similar sentencing.

I probably should've clarified. I want this to come true too, but something in my gut tells me the NCAA won't pursue this as much as they should. Still hope it happens

Re: New developments in the KU ticket scandal.
I don't see this as something the NCAA would even be concerned with. These aren't the player's tickets, they were Kansas' tickets that they were allowed to sell. This is more of a taxpayer / IRS issue. The only issue that I can see the NCAA getting involved is if there would be any connection to recruiting benefits from these tickets. The only mention I've heard is that some tickets went to the Pump brothers. That won't go anywhere because they are professional crooks who know what not to say and to whom you don't say it.

The NCAA is not pursuing anything in this scandal; all proceedings are being held in federal court. The feds are the ones pursuing this crime.

Pump brothers! Makes me giggle every time I hear it.
Every once in a while it's nice to open the closet and look at the skeletons of major college athletics. Problem is, when you open that door, it's impossible to get everything to fit back in....I wonder how many other programs have similar problems? The Pumps probably didn't limit their action to just one university.
This deserves jail time. White collar criminals shouldn't skate with a fine and probation.
