Well said. If a restaurant closes because they lose business to competition, they probably weren't very good to begin with. And FWIW, West Cyde Wings isn't anything special.
Re: the bowling alley on duff, I'm pretty sure they will be reopening at some point in another location although I haven't heard anything official.
But they can control a football game with the push of a button! Always wanted to try BWW out just never have...Just gonna be hard to go to BWW with Hickory park and West Towne being so consistently good!
Me and the wife ate at a BWW a couple months ago and was impressed. Its definatly a step above hooters and applebees. Same type of atmosphere with better food.
I was feeling lazy and didn't read through 7 pages of this thread, but after getting a BWW in Cedar Falls, I'm really not that impressed. Wait times are ridonkulous, the wings are meh IMO, and although they trained the staff for like a month before it opened, the whole staff runs around like chickens with their heads cut off. I had a friend that was a waitress there, and she said they ran out of wings the 2nd week the place was open. She quit because of how unorganized they were.
Never ate at one before CF opened and I probably won't eat at another now. I know I shouldn't base it on a new store, but it was purely hype. Bring an Outback to the Cedar Valley and I'd be a lot more impressed. They do carry UFC fights though, one of about 4 I can think of around here (Fanatics, Beck's and Mulligans).
BWW MIGHT be a step above eating out of a dumpster.
Their food can be good, but the prices are horrendous for what you get. Just horrendous. One of the worst values out there.
If you are a fan of dry, tasteless, overpriced chicken, then BWW is your type of place.
this thread had made me decide to get good wings for lunch.
West Cyde are all the wings I need.
