Dating a Clone girl...
I've been getting to know a girl (soph at ISU) and we've been on a few dates. I don't know the town very well and was wondering if you guys can throw out some stuff to do in/around Ames. I'm in Des Moines and it's not that far, but it's a haul to go down and back twice in a night. TIA!

Cue the asking for pics or no advice -
Re: Dating a Clone girl...
Have her make you supper and then rub your feet while you watch the Super Bowl. That way you'll know if she's worth the gas money.

And make you a sandwich... Thirty minutes after supper is over

Re: Dating a Clone girl...
I guess it really depends on what you're in to. There's always stuff going on around ISU.
M-Shop has live music and comedy. CY Stephens and Hilton have frequent events and concerts too. The music department has concerts all the time too. All those places will have schedules posted online.
Downtown has some really nice restaurants as does Duff Ave.
ISU also has famous speakers come in as part of their "Lecture Series" the topics can be political, scientific or sometimes just celebrities that come and talk about their experiences. Sometimes they can be boring but are usually pretty good.
ISU sporting events can be fun too. You can hit up gymnastics, wrestling or women's basketball fairly easily just by buying tickets at the door since they rarely sell out.
Campustown has a hookah bar and I think one of the bars (is it headliners?) might allow under 21 people in, although I remember that bar kind of sucking. If you're bored late a night you can get drunk-fare in Campustown and you'll almost always see some funny stuff going on in that area.
If you just want to stay in there's a redbox at McDonalds and Kum and Go and if you order Papa John's tell them you have an SAA card and you get buy-one-get-one pizzas.
Again it really comes down to what you want to do.

Have her drive to YOUR place, make a simple but fancy looking meal, throw in a movie for a few minutes, then proceed to plow-town. Enjoy!!

Is she from Boone? Couple chimichangas and a bottle of vodka should do.
