Re: Pi$$ed Off Japanese Minnow Farmer

I'm inclined to say the 2nd (I don't remember the taste of gin or tequilia, and the drink is pretty fruity) but there is so much in it that it's hard to tell.

Damn good drink (as is the traveling wilderberry or whatever), if you're ever on Welch I recommend stopping at WAS and having one (or two... much more than 3 or 4 watch out )

Oh we will fight, fight, fight for Iowa State, and may her colors ever fly!

I'm not a fan of hard alcohol, however, I do drink it occasionly for some good shot taking.

I always - keep. in mind "liqour before beer, your in the clear. Beer before liqour, you've never been sicker" I can drink a lot of beer, but the moment I have a horrid shot, there goes all my intake of alcohol lol

notice the - keep. in the sentence!! givin ya a hard time

I think Welch Ave. Station has the best mixed drinked in town. This drink is great and their long islands are REALLY good. Used to be $1 daquiri night for awhile on Thursdays. They were somewhat weak but they tasted great and were just $1.

I agree. This is one of the best tasting mixed drinks I've had, especially considering the immense amount of alcohol involved in making it.

Being a bartender I make this like this:
Shot of vodka
Shot of tequila
Shot Amaretto
Shot of Peach Schapps
Half a shot of Rum
2 Part Crannberry
1 Part Lime Juice

But thats just how I make it...different bartenders will make it differently!
I hope you like this mix as much as I do!!!

I don't know anything about the drink, but I like the nomenclature:

mood + citizenship description + animal + occupation

Some examples:

Giddy Irish Chicken Dentist
Depressed Taiwanese Banana Slug Janitor
Concerned Canadian Oyster Pole Vaulter
Elated Kenyan Otter Cowboy

Now all I need is a recipe...

I managed to get the recipe from Welch Ave Station, but I was sworn to secrecy, and had to go through backchannels to get it. This isn't how they make it at WAS, and I can't tell, sorry

I really think this one is possible. Start with some 99 Bananas...go from there.

No I completely understand...there's a thing between bartender's when you find a recipe that works you tend to try to keep it too yurself...but like I said different bartenders make it different ways, they try to add their own specialty![/quote]
