Ahhh. A thread that is right down my alley. More pizza competition = better.

I am still mourning the passing of "Pizza House".

I'm glad people like their "extras", because something like 60% of pizza business profit is in "extras".

What will make them last, though, is their capitalization and business plan. They have to have something to attract business during the summer and survive the lean months to last in Ames.

And remember, guys, please tip the delivery driver!

I live right next to their new location, and I love their food! They have really good pizzas, a lot of different varieties of toppings. They also have calzones and stromboli and pastas. They also have excellent sandwiches which are 5 dollars. The best part is that they have deals every day and their lunch special is awesome...2 huge slices of pizza and a pop for 6 dollars. I recommend Jeff's definitely!

Yup, GREAT pizza and the lunch special is sweet. I also happen to have their daily specials in front of me:

Monday buy 14" or larger pizza get one same size free
Tuesday Buy one pizza get smotherella sticks same size free
Wednesday 2 12" one topping and 12" smotherella sticks for $15
Thursday Buy 14" specialty pizza get 10" smotherella sticks free
Friday 14" Specialty pizza, 14" one topping, 2 liter pop for $24.95

I have to say, that I really like their menu. Lots of similar foods, in order to streamline production, but a large variety of choices. If they manage it right and have proper capitalization, maybe, just maybe, they might make it in Ames.

I'll be here big man just chillin! We always walk by there going to the bars and it always looks busy in there and everyone says it is money.

2402 Lincoln Way? Is that the corner where...well, all sorts of things have been? The last I know of, that weird club/coffee shop? I remember a florist, and even a drug store back when I was a student. Across from the church?

I just placed a delivery order.

I know someone who ordered their lasagna and smotharella sticks this afternoon. She said it was good!!
