I just had the the Thick Rick(last night) and the Hammer(today). I thought they are very good for about 6 bucks each, very tasty.

wow ive been out of ames for 7 months and people are talking about really missing a place that wasnt even there when i was.

That's seriously how good this place is. Come back to Ames in the fall for football or something, and go eat a couple meals there. You'll see! Also hit up Angie's Kitchen for breakfast/late night, if you haven't been there either. It's 3 doors down from Jeff's.

I was thinking the exact same thing. They are talking about this place like I talk about People's, Great Plains, or Hickory Park. Oh yeah and College Co-Eds

Originally the franchise was Jeff and Jim's...a friend from Wisconsin pointed that out to me, he's from LaCrosse and they have it there. Anyway, I have Jeff's about once a week, I absolutely love it. And this weekend some friends were in from out of town..they wanted pizza and I ranted and raved about how good Jeffs is...they ordered it and the middle was barely cooked and they messed up their dipping sauces. It's not like I won't keep ordering it, but I felt like a chump!
