Exams First, Beer Second

I just had the swell opportunity of taken two exams, back to back, on a Friday, 9 and 10 o'clocks. Makes me love the idea of the sound of a beer top cracking open.

Staying with the theme, what are some recollections or memories of having exams at the most inopportune time, and then the events (i.e. partying, etc.) that happened afterward?

As a freshman, I needed a break from studying so I went to a buddy's place to play a poker tourney. Long story short, I got drunk and walked from Sterling Apartments (now University Plains) to Maple/Willow/Larch. Funny thing happenned on my walk back though. I took 20-30 minutes to watch a 6'10'' person get arrested for marijuana possession on South Dakota Ave. Go figure it was Jackson Vroman. After 3 hours of sleep/passedoutedness, I got up and got the best C- of my life.

It was the Wednesday of finals week of my freshman year in the spring of 2005. I get done taking a surveying exam and physics 221 exam, back to back. I get back to my dorm at 3:00, open the fridge, and let the good times begin. Let's just say the night ended with myself and a bunch of others getting written up by the CA, aka mustache lady.

Remember the old adage, if you study while you are drunk, you should take the exam drunk. Helps the memory, they say.

I remember this well NIowaClone. If you don't know who this is I'll tell you in person later but I'm from the same town as your roommate from that year if that's any clue. I thought you escaped the CA somehow? Anyway I remember hearing the stories from that night the next morning. Good times.

This is a funny thread to be reading right now... just got back from Hy-Vee. Superfan and I were returning the 116 empty bottles of liquor I had on top of the cabinets in my kitchen.

I've had exams on my birthday the last several years, so of course that was bad timing that followed with partying.

I had an evening exam on Halloween this year, so I went to the exam in costume, then headed out to the bars (I was the headless horseman... took my pumpkin with me too!)

I don't recall ever drinking during an exam... but I did sit next to someone once who was taking pulls from a flask during the exam. Pretty sure that guy dropped out though... Oh and the same exam our prof had just come from Beer tasting at Cyclone Liquor and was a few minutes late... and buzzed

I took a ComSci (C++) exam drunk. I cannot remember exactly but I think I brought alcohol with me too. I got a D- on the exam and a D+ for the course, the worst grade I have ever received. I promptly changed my major.
