Is it me, or is the fact that VEISHEA is occuring a little early this year, making you a little less excited? I'm still bogged down by classes. Normally, VEISHEA takes place right before dead week and everything is on the way out.

Of course, the snow forcast tomorrow doesn't help.

We should put up a betting board for if there is going to be a riot this weekend. I would give it 4/1 odds.

Unfortunately, the success of VEISHEA is not measured in $$$$. If it was, maybe changes for the better would result.

Did anyone else see that VEISHEA next year is going to be the March 24th weekend or something like that in March. That is if we even have a VEISHEA next year.

They need to make it later, not earlier. It needs to be nice enough for the activities on Welch, like the dunk contest.

I think VEISHEA should always be the week and weekend before Dead Week.

Not only is the weather usually better, like the last two years, but it makes for one big last hurrah before finals. Plus, classes typically don't have huge requirements the week before dead week.

If only the admins could see it this way.

This VEISHEA is lame. Moving it up to early April was stupid, and the wrist bands are also stupid.

I love it too - I couldn't ask for anything more, except actually being back in Ames for VEISHEA, but I got the 70 degrees, sunny skies, and calm winds, and the golf course this afternoon.

That's just stupid - will the snow even be gone by then? That seems counter to the idea of having all of these "outside" events, and getting people (students, alumni, etc) on campus...
