Police + University Village = ???
Anybody know any reason there were a swarm of police with guns drawn up around the laundry place at University Village? There were about 30 cops, and they seemed to be interested in Apartment 143. They were talking about evidence, following a car, and something else.

Isn't that your apartment? At least that is where I told them you live. -

Hopefully they are doing a sweep to remove all Hawk lovers from ISU property.

That was only the Policeman's Bingo Game they always stake out every Monday. And the Dunkin Donuts are delivered after the game starts.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -

They were showing everyone their new guns and want the public to know they are very serious.

I lived in Friley so I hardly paid attention to it... all that ran through my mind was from the details I heard of the event, they were making it out to be muuuuuuuch bigger of a deal than it was, and I was thinking of a list of various methods I could use to achieve similar results.
Take for instance how it came up today - Guy I work with was talking about putting liquid nitrogen in pop bottles, capping it and chucking it to the otherside of the room. Little while later, bits of plastic everywhere.
Hell baking soda and vinegar could probally work too... little more mess though. I'd keep that one outdoors
Still nothing compared to a spark getting into a jar of gun cotton... Lets just say it's a good thing that glass jar was kept in a wood box (which valiently gave its life), and there is probally still a shard of glass in the ceiling of a particular lecture hall in Gilman Oh we will fight, fight, fight for Iowa State, and may her colors ever fly!!! A friend and I were in the chem room, and decided we wanted to try it. Unfortunately, both of us were only about 3 ft. away when it blew up - my ears rang for two days. There's still a hole in the ceiling from where the cap blew through the tile.
