Has anyone been to this new bar?? I hear it kicks ***, but thats just from one or two people. I hear they have some great specials (Jar Night on thursdays....can anyone say People's?). Just wondering what the bar is like and what people thought of it.

I've been there a couple times - the deals on Thursdays are good (something like $3 huge mason jars of wells, $4 pitchers of beer, and $5 well pitchers - not exactly sure though). It was pretty crowded then, but not overly so, and I had a great time. I've been there other times during the week, though, and been less than impressed (dead atmosphere, not great deals, etc.).

I wasn't thrilled about it. Just went on a normal night. I paid something like $4 for a pint of beer. Pretty slow and the people were kind of creepy looking. I live close by and have passed it when there were more people and more people college-aged... Overall, I'd say the bar is OK but nothing special... Then again, it's all about who you go with and how much money you're willing to throw down...

Sounds exactly what Trailer Trash Night was at People's. I have some awesome memories of those days (or lack thereof). Sounds like something I'll have to round up the old balls for and make it a long weekend.

Mother's is the old Boheme, and I've been there every Thursday night since its been open. The mason jar deals are awesome, and they have live music Thursdays thru Saturdays. And yes, the bar manager used to be the manager at People's, so they have a lot of the same specials and same music acts come in.
Oh yeah, and they have a bunch of their own special drinks...I highly reccommend the "Mother's Milk", basically a White Russian with a shot of energy drink to spice it up!
