Everyone ready for school???

I don't think it has set in yet that I have to go to class tomorrow.

Neither has the fact that we get to watch Cyclone football on Thursday.

How many hours are you taking this fall? PS: I was in Ames last June and it looked like the Union food court and bookstore were getting major renovations.

Have they remodeled the hotel rooms yet? I knew that was in the plans, more than cosmetic differences, anyway.

I was in Ames last night. Kept seeing Charter buses rolling through. Surely that wasn't the shuttle from the Des Moines Airport? I thought they used CyRide.

18 credit hours this semester with 12 of those being major courses is not going to be fun. I don't think I'll even need and apartment since I'll pretty much be living at Gerdin.

I have 17 credit hours but that may drop to 14 depending on how things go.

The food court didn't have much done but the bookstore is 1,000,000 times better now.

Maybe I'm just stupid, but I think it's pretty easy to get lost in that bookstore now.

I agree, it's huge, and has twists and turns all over the place... but it sure is sweet.

I don't think it has set in my mind that I have classes tomorrow. It's been over 7 months since I've been in classes after having a coop this past spring/summer. I think I am prepared to dive in again, we'll see how I feel in two weeks.

Hopefully I have everything I need......

Chizik: "One thing that I’d encourage our fans…I want them to be the loudest stadium in the Big 12. I don’t care…I want Jack Trice stadium to be the loudest in the Big 12 and I think that creates homefield advantage.... I want to stress to everyone…I want this place to be juiced up. They bought 36,000 season tickets so there is a passion there…don’t hide it…let it out. I want there to be a passion in the stadium."

I have 18 credits with 3 being grad level. I do not want to go to class tomorrow, I have 7 hours of class.

Some People see things as they are and say why? I dream things that never were and say why not? When I took this job I said why not Iowa State? Why not winning? Why not bowl games? Why not sell outs? Why not national respect? Why not us? Why not here? Why not the cyclone family?

Assuming you were familiar with the bookstore the way it was before, I think that's the reason why. I was in there yesterday and felt kind of lost too, but I think it was only because everything looks completely different from the way it was before.

Somehow I don't think that those of us who have graduated and work will feel sorry for you!

I'd much rather be in school than working but I'm starting to get senioritis.

I think the new bookstore is awesome. I only have one class tomorrow for an hour and after that I might go sit on central campus and check out the girls walkin around in short skirts...
