lots of lesbian anger ... but the teacher treated us like kings for taking the class. Was actually the one of the easiest A's I had at ISU. (not that there were many) Com Sci 103 - a 4 credit class of understanding computing thats 100% online that you just have to work on Word, Excell etc... i would recommend it to EVERYONE

That is why you go to UNI to party. Dont worry about the ratio, things will take care of themself, unless you are a total wreck socially.

Re: guy to girl ratio that bad in iowa state?
All I can say is I never had much luck at ISU, but had a lot of fun when I moved to Cedar Falls. Having a steady pay check and a little more maturity had to help me.
My brother had a similar experience only he went to Iowa for a year. Came back to ISU to finish his Engineering degree, but had a lot of fun in Iowa City.

There aren't many girls in upper level history courses either. The 60/40 ratio of guys to girls seems about right.

EDIT: Chemical? really? I would not have guessed it would be 50/50. Electrical is a wasteland.

If you work in the business, that pretty much trumps the specialized degree. And if you some day decide you don't want to work in the industry, since it pays jack and the hours suck, you're kinda stuck. If I had it to do over again, I would have majored in Business, rather than HRI. Now that I'm "retired" from hotel management, it's hard to find a good job. I think that would be different if I had majored in something other than that. Just my 2 cents...

Point of info, ISU is one of a handful of universities where more students are males than females, probably cuz of engineering and ag.

I stand corrected.
Someone at some point told me it was dropped. I was ****** because it was the easiest A I've had in my entire life.
