Shih I wasn't concerned about. He was an administrator, not a prof for the most part. I was referring more to Soon-Jo Chung, and more notably, Fred Haan. Haan was the best instructor I've had at ISU.Quote:

It was more of the sign of Shih leaving than the actual loss of a teacher that bothered me, considering he simply took the same position he had here, only at Neil Armstrong Hall in West Lafayette.
As for Haan, I had the chance to work with him this summer...amazing man, really wish I wouldn't have missed having him by 1 year. When you lose someone like him (have yet to hear a student who had a class with him say a bad thing) and Chung, who was doing some really interesting work in micro-aero vehicles, it doesn't send a good sign.
